With broad adoption of VoIP phone systems in the corporate sector, VAR´s and reseller are quickly beginning to move from analog paging systems to networked paging devices that are easily connected to existing IP networks with a single Ethernet cable connection.

When converting from an analog phone system to a VoIP phone system, the phone itself and a variety of peripherals need to be implemented to support a typical installation. In analog phone systems, peripherals such as paging speakers, signaling devices, and entry controls are widely available.

The Power Injector eliminates the need for a PoE enabled hub. In a typical installation, the Power Injector is connected between a non-PoE hub and a CyberData paging device, providing inline power capability to an Ethernet Cat 5 cable.
