The Plug & Play DWL-P200 delivers both data and electrical
power to Ethernet-enabled devices using a single Ethernet cable. Using
Power over Ethernet, you eliminate the need to place an
Ethernet-enabled device, such as a wireless access point, near a power
outlet. This gives more freedom in placement where power outlets are
not readily available. The DWL-P200 can transmit power up to 328 Feet.
Plug the base unit into a power outlet, and then connect the terminal
unit to your network device using any standard Ethernet cable. Once set
up, the terminal device unit is selectable and can output power to any
compatible 5V or 12V Ethernet-enabled device.
