Details:
The
Mediatrix 1124 protects customer investment in existing analog devices,
primarily phones and fax machines, by providing access to an enterprise
or carrier-based VoIP network.
In MDU/MTU applications, the
Mediatrix 1124 provides a simple, transparent and costeffective way to
migrate users to an IP-based telephony infrastructure without the need
to discard existing analog devices. Since the Mediatrix 1124 is ideal
for a wiring closet installation, existing cables and wires can remain
in place – bringing additional cost savings and further facilitating
network migration.

In addition, by providing IP connectivity to analog CO trunk ports of a
PBX or analog CO line ports of a Key System, the Mediatrix 1124
IP-enables legacy telephone systems and makes IP telephony applications
available.
